I take it you don’t have many neighbors or street traffic?. it’s like the background and subject are in 2 different planes of existence. Optically the '50 Jahre' lens is identical to the version IV. with a silky smooth bokeh background, it’s pretty easy to separate the subject that is in sharp(er) focus, but I feel a busy background with some movement can also separate almost as well. Last week I questioned whether the production run of the Leica 50mm Summilux ASPH Matte Black Chrome lens was limited to only 500 units, given the continued availability of this lens (brand new) several years after its introduction. The '50 Jahre' Summicron 2/50 was introduced in March 2003 in 1000 copies to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the production of the very first Summicron 50mm F/2 lens in 1953. I also like silky smooth bokeh, as well, they are just 2 different ways to render the background out of focus. It’s pretty rare for a lens of that age to have no damage. Leica 50mm f/2 Summicron Rigid is not so easy to find in good optical condition. It has a gentler rendition, lower contrast on CMOS and CCD sensors.
I’ve had stuff from probably back in late 80’s and early 90’s that came with a camera my aunt gave me and the film turned out just fine… ok, maybe the last 100 ISO film I had a different look to it which one may describe as old or vintage, but that’s pretty cool, actually.Īnyways, I like this type of background where it’s a little busy and has some sense of movement. 1700mm x 3200mm Flatbed Hot and Cold Laminator for Rigid & Flex Media on sale at wholesale prices, buy cheap 1700mm x 3200mm Flatbed Hot and Cold Laminator for Rigid & Flex Media from 1700mm x. Leica 50mm f/2 Summicron Rigid is a lens that performs really well on both film and digital. Expired film or not, I haven’t noticed a major difference or degradation in using well long expired film.
